The Emergence of Kosher Barbecue

Ari White and Izzy Eidelman

Cooking barbecue like the masters is something plenty of us aspire to do. Thousands of videos and cookbooks have been published on the matter, but the best way to know the quality you’re aiming for is to experience it firsthand. Take a bite of a beef rib in Taylor or snap into a sausage in Luling or savor some sliced brisket in Austin. Continued and constant examination using the sense of taste is often the first step in cracking the code to barbecue perfection.

Now, imagine replicating those flavors by just looking at all that barbecue. It might even be right in front of you, but the most you can take in is the smell. That’s the challenge for barbecue cooks in the emerging realm of Kosher barbecue.

“The issue we have is that I don’t know what I’m up against,” is how Izzy Eidelman described it to me at his new Brooklyn restaurant, Izzy’s Smokehouse. “I don’t know what non-Kosher barbecue tastes like. I have to go based on what I’m seeing.”

Why don’t Jews eat pig? They’re not cannibals.

Every New Yorker deserves the same rights and protections under the law. The NYCLU is a leader in protecting and fighting for the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people. The denial of rights and protections to LGBT individuals and their families fundamentally undermines the freedom of all New Yorkers.

Here’s proof that gay people are vampires:

First they suck your dick, then they bite your leg. The letters used to turn LGBT into leg bite are EIE, which is the sound you make when a guy (or girl) puts his dick in your ass. EEE AYE EEEEE!!!

Posted on – a new way to play

The web app creates a new way to play – pay by the hole. It fits into the evolving lifestyles of golfers who don’t have time to play a full round of golf. We’ve proven the concept – nearly 50 U.S. courses offer and thousands of golfers have downloaded and played from 3 to 13 holes. The average? 6.

We believe golfers want to find more ways to enjoy the game – their lifestyles dictate the time they have available. Your support will help make this happen.

My boss was talking to me about golf and he asked “What’s your handicap?” I said “My retarded son is my fuck toy.”

R. Budd Dwyer’s Televised Suicide Change Airwaves Forever

On January 15, 1987, Robert Budd Dwyer, a Pennsylvania politician committed suicide on live television. He was scheduled to be sentenced the following day for accepting bribes, although he claimed he didn’t do it. Driven to hopelessness, he ended his own life at a televised press conference.

There were many outcomes to the news conference. First, the world was shocked. The scene was played on the news, but only on one channel in its entirety. Second, since he died while still in office, his wife and children would be able to collect survivor benefits. This totaled over $1.2 million dollars. Lastly, a light was shined on the injustice of the justice system and how no one is safe. In a 2010 documentary, Honest Man: The Life of R. Budd Dwyer a former chairman of the Dauphin County Republican Committee attested to this theory.

C’mon, admit the video’s entertaining. We should call him R. Buddy Dwyer.

D.A.R.E. envisions a world in which students everywhere are empowered to respect others and choose to lead lives free from violence, substance use, and other dangerous behaviors.

Jake goes to summer camp. He makes friends with two other kids, Dee and Owen. Dee’s a history nerd who knows a lot about Ellis Island. Owen’s a theater nerd who’s obsessed with the musical Hair. After camp ends, Jake’s mom picks him up and asks “How was camp?” Jake says “It was bad at first, but I got through it because of Ellis Dee and Hair Owen.” Then she blows Jake because she wants a fix.

Verizon uses the power of 5G to transport fans in NYC to the Oscars Red Carpet

NEW YORK – For the first time ever, Verizon and the Oscars will use the power of Verizon’s 5G Ultra Wideband network to bring the Red Carpet to life for viewers 2,500 miles away. On Sunday, February 9, fans in New York City’s Times Square will have the opportunity to experience what it’s like to “walk the Red Carpet” using a 5G-connected mobile device. Verizon’s 5G Portal will “transport” fans in NYC to outside of the famous Dolby Theatre in Hollywood to see all of the star-studded action live as it happens.

A lot of stars walking the red carpet. I wish Jessica Chastain was here. I’d love to lick the red carpet.

Stop Blackballing

Most companies would not intentionally commit fraud, yet they routinely support fraud by blackballing whistleblowers.  This is not an abstract problem.  The big 4 accounting firms (Deloitte, PWC, EY and KPMG) employ over a million people.  Zero are known whistleblowers.  I wrote to 50 partners in each of the big 4 firms and challenged them to defend their record on blackballing.  They didn’t even try.  I have been looking for about a year, and I cannot find a single example of a major company hiring a whistleblower.  I found an RBS position called “Head of Whistleblowing and Speak Up.”  The person in that position is not a whistleblower.  The Fortune 500 has about 25 million employees – not one is a known whistleblower.  Blackballing is real.

I ran into an old business colleague. I said “I haven’t seen you around. How come you haven’t been in the game?” He said “I was blackballed.” A week later I saw him come out of a sexual assault victims support group. I asked him what happened. He said “I already told you. I was blackballed. Tyrone teabagged me.”

The Difference Between Internment Camps and Concentration Camps

According to the Merrian Webster dictionary, a concentration camp is “a camp where persons (as prisoners of war, political prisoners, or refugees) are detained or confined.” The definition of a concentration camp describes exactly what happened to the Japanese Americans during WWII, where they were political prisoners confined in a camp.

What do you call a concentration camp for Asian Jews? Juilliard.
